5K Desert Race at
Graham County Fair

Get ready to lace up your running shoes and experience the thrill of the desert terrain at the Graham County Fair’s annual 5K Desert Race! Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to get active, this event offers a great opportunity to challenge yourself and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. The race is open to participants of all ages, with different divisions for both male and female competitors.

Registration is FREE! Plus, you have the option to purchase a commemorative race t-shirt for just $15.

Registration Details

• Online Registration: You can access the 5K Registration Form here. Forms must be completed and submitted by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2024. If you choose to purchase a t-shirt, payment must be included with your registration form.
• Where to Submit:Completed forms and any t-shirt payments can be dropped off at the Parks and Fair Office located at 527 E. Armory Rd, Safford, AZ 85546, or you can send by email.
• Race Day Registration: If you miss the online registration deadline, don't worry! You can still register on race day between 7:00 - 7:30 a.m. at the starting line. However, please note that race day registrations will not include the option to purchase a t-shirt.

Race Day Information

• Start Time: 8:00 a.m.
  Location: Graham County Park, next to the ball field snack bar.

Participants will compete in age divisions, ensuring fair competition for everyone. The divisions are as follows:

• 8 and under
• 9-12 years
• 13-17 years
• 18-30 years
• 31-50 years
• 51 and over

T-Shirt Information
Celebrate your participation by ordering a race t-shirt! T-shirts are available for $15 and can be ordered during registration. Be sure to circle your size on the registration form.

T-shirts must be pre-ordered by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26th. Please note that t-shirts will not be available for purchase on race day.

Waiver of Liability
Please remember that by participating in the 5K Desert Race, you are agreeing to the waiver of liability. This waiver releases Graham County from any legal responsibility for injuries that may occur before, during, or after the event. For participants under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the waiver.
