Who Can Enter
All are welcome—floats, walking/marching groups, vehicles, and more. On the form, you’ll be asked for your Entry Title, Type of Entry (Float / Walking-Marching / Vehicle / Other), and a Brief Message for the announcer (≤30 words).
Day-Of Line-Up & Route (for participants)
- Check-in & Line-up: 7:00–9:30 a.m. behind the Graham County Courthouse. All entries must be staged by 9:45 a.m. The first numbered entry departs at 10:00 a.m.
- How to access line-up: Take W. 8th St → S. 11th Ave → right on W. Main St (behind the Courthouse). Follow event personnel in high-visibility vests; you’ll receive a line-up number in order of arrival. Keep multi-vehicle groups together and maintain spacing.
- Parade route: Courthouse → Left on 8th Ave → Right on Main St → Right on 2nd Ave → toward 7th St to disband. No right turn onto 7th St. Please assist with prompt pick-ups and exit via 2nd Ave.
Rules & Safety Highlights
These apply to everyone in your group; failure to follow may result in removal or disqualification.
- Licensed drivers only for large vehicles, ATVs, and golf carts; age 12+ for mini-bikes/motorized scooters.
- No riding on rooftops, fenders, or hoods.
- No hot-rodding, excessive speed, or swerving (includes ATVs, motorcycles, bicycles, skateboards).
- Hand out items—do not throw anything toward the crowd.
- Animals: Handlers must maintain proper disposition and control.
- Youth entries must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Maintain spacing; no stopping to perform—keep the parade moving.
- Prohibited: weapons, blanks, fireworks, water balloons, silly string, water guns, or any innately dangerous items.
- Max float height: 13′ 6″ (DOT legal).

Required Agreements (in the PDF)
- Hold Harmless Agreement: Entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Safford and its agents for parade activities on Oct 10, 2025 (Main Street Parade Route). The agreement must be signed by an authorized representative.
- Notice: Video/Audio Recording of Minors (A.R.S. § 1-602): City special events may be photographed and recorded. Parents can file written consent with the City of Safford Administrative Events Liaison (808 S. 8th Ave, Safford; (928) 432-4143) or ensure children are not present where recording may occur.
